Only $10 21+ ART If you like art, and you like it with the Oscar Santos touch, then come out to the opening of his new exhibit on July 6th at the Black Dragon Society in Downtown L.A. Starts around 6 in the evening. The other featured artist is Nick Lowe, half of that duo known as the Bushes. More details to come. Black Maria Feb 8th That's right. Black Maria along with the Bushes will be playing at the UCLA Dickson Art Center Senior art show. 5:00 p.m. and it's free. Be there or be square. Black Maria @ the Smell MORE THAN TRANSPORTATION Here's one to mark on your calendars folk. Black Maria will be playing at the Smell, downtown in a show for Bike Enthusiasts. Along with bands such as Sturmey Archers, Critical Three, Basement League and others, there will be various workshops on bikes. Workshops begin at 2, bands start at 4, beginning with Black Maria. 247 Main St. between 2nd and 3rd in Downtown Los Angeles. Call (213) 625-4325 for info and details. Black Maria and Debauchery at Dickson Art Center That's right, UCLA's Dickson Art Center will again be the host to a rocking show featuring Black Maria, Debauchery, and at least three other acts. Event will start around 7 p.m. and is *free* so don't be a punk and miss it. Debauchery @ the Coconut Teaszer Debauchery will make their triumphant return to the Coconut Teaszer on Thursday, November 29. For further details about exact time and price, call 323-654-4773. Also, this is an 18+ show. Debauchery to Play UCLA's Coop Restaurant Debauchery is playing UCLA's Coop Restaurant, located on the A level of the Ackerman Student Union this friday. That's right, tomorrow. Debauchery will play at 7:00pm sharp. Be there or be square. Other bands will include Audiocrush and Jetlag. Parking is $6. Don't miss it. Experimental Noise Band To Play UCLA This coming wednesday, October 24, Oscar Santos, the guitar player from Fecal Candy, along with one of his new projects will be playing in the Dickson Courtyard at UCLA. The band, which has no name yet will be making experimental noise rock at the Ice Cream Social slated for noon in the Dickson Courtyard. There will be regular as well as vegan ice cream. Playing soon Shows are being set up in both Los Angeles and the Bay Area for Hogwash. Keep checking for exact dates. |
